The Blue Moon opened in August of 1992 on the site of an old Stowe favorite restaurant from the 70s, “La Bicoque.”
After helping with the opening renovations I was the dining room manager until 2001 when I bought the restaurant from the first owner. Since then we’ve done several remodels, including extensive gardening by my wife, Donna. We’re very pleased to have chef Jimmy Kalp in the kitchen, he continues to amaze me as he changes the entire menu every month. Come in and see why we’ve been the place for fine dining in Stowe for 21 years.
